The Burning of the Redemption -
Retaliationby the Lestat Defenso Del Sangue Coven

The night sky was lit up like a sun burst when the Vorden Ship Redemption
was set a blaze by none other than Lestati Lord Vincent Dracul,
leader of the Defenso Del Sangue Coven.
As I arrived at the Teatro to interview Lord Dracul,he was busy sharpening his sword.
He noticed immediately that I was uncomfortable around his weapon
and being a gentleman, he sheathed his sword while in my presence.
With complete knowledge of why I was there,
he quickly began to tell me what transpired the night of the attack
as we sat perched on the edge of the stage.
Also present in the teatro was Lord Dracul's loyal Lieutenant,
Sabella who played a Major part in the events of that incident.
Lord Dracul emphasized that the attack was launched
in retaliation for the kidnapping of the Diva Lady Fia a few weeks ago.
It was the Vorden Kengi who perpetrated the kidnapping under the direct command
of the Vorden Amdis.  While Lady Fia was returned without serious
injury, also due to the actions of the Lord Dracul, the crime still required
avenging and that is exactly what Lord Dracul accomplished.
Stealthily boarding the ship under the cloak of
darkness, Lord Dracul and his Lieutenant had the element of surprise in their
favor.  They handily took the Vorden
Amdis captive as they set the ship ablaze.
However, Lord Dracul did sustain some injury but his quick minded
Lieutenant pulled him out of harm’s way of more dangerous injury.
Of Sabella, Lord Dracul boasted, "she is fiercely loyal to me and
has been a most needed companion over the last 300 years".
It was humiliating indeed for Amdis to see his ship ablaze but the real humiliation
was yet to come when he was dragged to the square and handed over to
The Contessa Brit of Bathory .
She Then stripped him naked and carved her insignia into his flesh with
a blade handed her by Lord Dracul.
Lord Dracul made it a point to say "This was meant as a message.  Hostilities towards
the Lestat Sabat will be dealt with." Going on... he re-emphasized that, "Any and all hostilities against the Lestati bloodline shall be dealt with using extreme force if needed.
We will let no hostilities against our brothers and sisters go unanswered".
He went on to explain, "We remain purely defensive and will not attack anyone without cause."
For In The City of Venexia ... The Sagas Shall Continue .......
