The Blessing Kick Off to Festival
Greetings and welcome all, to the Festa del Redentore.
This great feast, we
celebrate what it is to be Chosen.
*The Celebrant raises the Daemonican Staff, and intones the Benediction*
Ego benedico te cum nocte aeterno.
In nomine Patris et Matris et omnia
Daemonarum Sanctarum.
We all here know the stories of how our own covens came to be.
But there
once was a time when the Chosen had no Seven Sabats,
no Seven Great Houses of
the Chosen. It is said that long ago,
when man was made,he was given a wife,
made from the ground as he was. Her name was Lilith.
But she refused to be
subservient to the man Adam.
She left him, and founded the great race of the
Chosen.
For centuries, she went about the face of the earth
, bringing forth new
Childes. But she in her wisdom realized that in order to preserve her children,
she must organize them. Thus through miraculous means, she brought forth the
Great Houses, to which all of we here present, all Chosen, belong. These here
are the names of the Great elders, our Archaos, which dwell among us in Venexia,
sleeping in their tombs:
Bael Norferat
Count Corvnus Drakul
Countess Eerzebet
Bathory
Countess Carmilla Karnstein
Marquis Francois Lestat
Baron
Lucian De Rais
Lilitu Daemonica
We do not mention the name of the Apostate Sabat during this day of
celebration of being Chosen.
All these elders derive from one Holy Mother, Lilith, who first refused to
serve man.
Now we rule over Man. Let us all partake of this blood,
which
represents to us Mother Lilith. It represents to us that though
we are each of
different Great Sabats, nevertheless,
we share many common traits. And it is
Holy Mother Lilith,
who Redeemed us from Mortality, by the fact she Redeemed our
Archaos...they in turn have passed the Redemption of Immortailty to us!
Let us
rejoice in this our shared Privelege!
* The celebrant drinks from her cup, and urges others to come to the altar to
share from the flask*
The Ceremony is over! Let us all go forth and living,
we die not! For we
are the Shepherds, and we are the Wolves!
